Michaella Anastasiou

Michaella is a dedicated veterinarian, originally from Cyprus, who joined Poolhouse in 2018 after graduating from the University of Szent István in Budapest. With a strong passion for animal care, Michaella began her career as a full-time veterinarian, where she honed her skills and gained invaluable experience over the course of three years. Michaella, then took on the challenging role of the permanent emergency vet, helping to  establish the night team. She is currently in the process of completing her RCVS Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice, with a special focus on emergency medicine, surgery, and critical care.

Michaella is a proud owner of two adopted Ragdoll cats and a new mom to a spirited German Shorthaired Pointer. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality moments with her family and pets, embarking on outdoor adventures, and exploring art, architecture, and culture.
